| his course of study is based on extensive research into the needs of the animation Industry. Students will begin the course by studying drawing and design as they apply to 2D cartoon animation. These studies will serve as a foundation for work in the digital domain, including 3D modeling, 3D animation, texturing, lighting, and rendering. The crucial role of animation in film pre-visualizations (“previz”), special effects, and game design will be an integral part of the curriculum. Students will master the 2D Art from basic level to Advanced level through this program. At each step of the way, students are developing pieces to include in their professional portfolio. |

| The Course contents |

Art Foundation:
The Drawing courses are specifically designed for building the artistic foundation on which all your subsequent work will rest. You will learn how to organize the formal art elements of drawing, color, line, space, texture, Human anatomy, Perspective, Line of action, Animal study, gesture drawing, time and motion into a unified whole. This course trains your eye and develops your aesthetic appreciation for excellent design. |

Animation principles:
Animation Principles will take you through animation-specific skills used in the animation and cartooning Industry. Basic construction, line of action, exaggerated perspective, force, rhythm, gravity, design, volume and physics will all be addressed, along with the 12 principles of animation. Also the student will be exposed to 'Acting' skills which is an essential part of becoming a good 2D Animator. |

Flash Animation:
We intend to upgrade the student with the updates in the production line. We will expose the student to digital animation techniques through 'Flash'. The student will learn the complete animation techniques digitally by mastering 'Flash' software. |

Animation Film making:
This sequence of courses is designed to bring out the filmmaker in you. You will learn every aspect of animation film making, going all the way from the blank page through the entire conceptual process: script writing and storyboarding to production to post production processes. Your final film project will be an essential component of your portfolio. |
